We offer our counseling services throughout the North East, providing a flexible service to accommodate today’s busy lifestyles.

Helping Mind know these problems can affect your work and relationships, often leading to depression, stress and anxiety.

This can lead to low self-confidence and even affect how you carry out your work and your general daily business.

Helping Mind understand that depression in children can be caused by any combination of things that relate to physical health, life events, family history, school, bullying, environment, genetic vulnerability, and biochemical disturbance.

Depression, anger and mood changes are not passing situations, nor are they conditions that will go away without the appropriate help and treatment.

A child’s mental health is just as important as their physical health and deserves the same quality of support.

Helping Mind recognises that not just adults but children too may be struggling with bullying, a difficult relationship, anger issues or abuse.

Sexual abuse is a very personal experience for women, men, teenagers and young children.

Confidentiality and discretion are of utmost importance, so you can be assured you are in safe hands.

Helping Mind can help improve your work/life balance, self-awareness or if you need support in making a difficult decision.

Whatever is preying on your mind we are here to listen and help when needed.

Helping Mind understand It can be very difficult at times for our Service personnel.

It can be comforting to know that you are not alone with the challenges that can be met and the difficulties that can be experienced while and after serving.

Helping Mind offer a confidential, non-judgmental support where culture, values and beliefs are respected, in a private space where there will be an opportunity to explore experiences, whatever they may be.

Opening up can be a very emotional experience, we relise this and we move along at a pace that helps you best.

Helping Mind provides support that will enhance your skills to best manage difficult situations more effectively and without duress.

Resulting in positive change and personal resolution.

Helping Mind therapy sessions initially are weekly and will last for 60 minutes.

As progression continues these are generally reduced to once a fortnight.
